The National Weather Service says conditions could get rough. Included is a nasty winter mix of sleet and show, including up to 4 inches and ice accumulations of a quarter of an inch (see complete forecast below).
Freezing rain is tough on electrical service. Falling tree limbs can hit power lines, taking them down. Or just the added weight of ice forming on the lines can cause outages.
