One of the great things about local businesses and their teams is how they constantly connect to their communities.  This Sunday marked another successful Kids Triathlon.  Kids 12 and under compete in three events–swimming, biking and running. A Plus Electric’s master electrician, Carl Evanson, brought his three children to the site so they could “warm up for next year when they can participate.”

The Kids Triathlon takes place at the Clark Lake Yacht Club, and is a joint effort of the Yacht Club and the Clark Lake Raft-O-Rama Committee.

Up for grabs were the top three awards–gold, silver, and bronze.

Since the event takes place at Clark Lake, the swim competition is a natural.  Check out the video below as Event Director Dan Omo gives instructions to participants.  Continue to watch to see the competitors take to the water.

Kids of all ages played on the giant blow ups brought in by the Yacht Club.  Others enjoyed a bite to eat or just soaked in a stunningly beautiful day at Clark Lake.
