Napoleon is known for its community spirit.  Nowhere is this more evident in its support for Napoleon High School and its athletic programs.  Recently Carl Evanson added A Plus Electric’s support for the Napoleon Athletic Boosters and are part of their program this fall.

A Plus Electric knows the importance of community.  Carl believes “encouraging community spirit is key to building a strong future for all of us.”  Geri Phelps, of the Napoleon Athletic Boosters, points how this plays out when the team travels. “For away games, you can find a strong contingent from Napoleon cheering for the Pirates.”

The fall sports schedule at Napoleon includes varsity and JV football, cross-country, varsity and JV volleyball, and girls golf.  Napoleon is in the Cascades Conference–East Jackson, Manchester, Michigan Center, Vandercook Lake, Hanover-Horton, Addison, and Grass Lake.

Carl adds “hats off to all the competitors who work hard at winning!”

Consumers Energy reports a scam is afoot.  You get a phone call demanding immediate payment or your utilities will be shut off and you must pay now. Consumers says they “never demands payment using only a pre-paid credit card, and urges customers to never be coerced into paying an energy bill over the phone using a Green Dot card or other pre-paid credit card. In addition, customers should never give personal information or money over the phone to anyone they do not know.”

New projects from regular customer come up often.  Here, the A Plus Electric team is working on wiring a new beverage counter at the Pointe Bar and Grill.

Diners look forward to leisurely meals on the deck with its wonderful view of Clark Lake.  The new beverage area will enhance this outdoor service.

The Pointe chose A Plus for the electrical installation that involves wiring for refrigeration units.

Some projects are very creative, and this is one of them.  A Clark Lake resident wanted a state of the art dock–one that floats, will last a millennium, and look like a million. When B.J. Lyons created the plans for this Clark Laker, B.J. called on A Plus Electric to wire and install the lighting.  And this is no ordinary lighting.  The dock will have white led’s along the edge of the walkway and green leds following the outline of the dock underwater.  It doesn’t take much imagination to conjure the very impressive image it will project.

Carl Evanson is a long time supporter of the Clark Lake Spirit Trail–a path that circles the lake and is used avidly by runners, walkers, and cyclists.  So when it’s Run Clark Lake Day on the Spirit Trail, Carl is there with his entourage.  They were watching earlier races preparing to compete in the Kids Run.  Scroll down to see a photo as the competition began.

Run Clark Lake consists of a 12K run, a 5K run, a 5K walk, and a 3/4 Kids Run.  Below are the kids just after hearing “go.”
