The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch until 11 pm for these counties: Jackson, Branch, Hillsdale, Lenawee, Monroe, Livingston, Macomb, Oakland, St. Clair, and Washtenaw.
“At 428 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Burlington, or 9 miles north of Coldwater, moving east at 55 mph. Dime size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph with downed tree limbs will be possible with this storm.
