Introducing new generations to the meaning of Memorial Day is an American tradition. It’s important that kids understand the sacrifice made by those in our military. We find ways to teach them that we are forever in the debt of the men and women who secured the safety and security of our country, and gave all in doing so.
Yesterday was an opportunity to help kids learn about Memorial Day. At Clark Lake’s “biggest, little parade,” kids are invited to decorate bikes, or themselves, and be part of the procession. Along with many other families, A Plus Electric’s Carl Evanson and wife, Abby, brought their kids to the parade.
Remembering our fallen heroes is essential to a child’s well-rounded education. To learn more about this event at this small, close-knit community, please click here.
